Title Submission

Your journey to getting published begins here with a manuscript submission. We accept submissions through an agent or directly from the writer.

 

Your submission must include the following:

 

  • Cover letter containing a brief description of the project and the contents of the package

  • An outline and/or annotated table of contents

  • A description of the intended market as it pertains to the subject matter including an explanation of why someone would want to buy the book

  • A list of known competing titles and how yours differs

  • Brief summary of the author's background, bio and credentials in light of the subject matter

  • A full manuscript if completed in PDF

  • In the case of a proposal, at least three sample chapters in PDF

  • Be written in English. Double-spaced with 1-inch margins in 12-point type

  • Numbered pages

  • Complete permissions and citations

  • Total word count for the proposed manuscript

  • Your complete daytime contact information including telephone and email

 

Submit all of the above to the Editorial Department @ bjkpublishing@yahoo.com. You may also send hard copies to:

Required Points for hard copy submissions.

 

  1. Only send copies of your material. Keep the original for your records. 

  2. Numbered pages.

  3. Single sided pages.

  4. Double spaced.

  5. A self-addressed, stamped envelope or e-mail address. 

  6. Postage if you wish for your manuscript to be returned; otherwise, it will be recycled.

 

If desired, include a self-addressed, stamped blank postcard for acknowledgement of receipt of materials. Submission of unsolicited materials is done at the author's risk of loss or damage. We regret that we are unable to acknowledge every submission. 

 

Works that do not conform to these standards, as well as the standards outlined in the author publishing agreement, will be rejected or cancelled by BJK Publishing & Distribution.
